How to Activate Your Psychic Abilities By Crista Marie Miller

It’s like a knowing that’s just out of grasp, and if you’re paying attention to it at this point, you feel a craving to grab onto it and make it expand with depth and detail.

It can be done. I can tell you how I activated my psychic abilities, and then try it for yourself. It all started with a removal of my five senses…

Before I started developing my psychic abilities—beyond the women’s intuition, hunches and gut checks that everyone has but rarely explores—I found it fun as a young child to sit in my small bedroom closet with the lights off, door closed, and just witnessing every little noise, sensation, and feeling I received. It wasn’t scary, just calming, because I was going deeper in side myself.

It taught me so much of who I was, without any outside interference (you know how the world likes to try to tell you who you are!). Now, I sit in a dark room with a blindfold and ear plugs for the same result. I suggest doing this at least twice a week for thirty minutes each.

This pushes you to feel what it’s like to sit with yourself and only yourself. It is very uncomfortable at first. Most people can only do it for five minutes or less at the start. I would suggest setting a timer for ten minutes in the beginning. If you don’t make it to ten the first few times, don’t be hard on yourself. Keep trying.

While sitting in the dark, try to quiet the mind. Acknowledge and thank any thoughts that come to you, then gently push them away. After some time, your mind should become calm and silent. When in this state I have found that you are in direct contact with your higher self. While you sit there ask yourself any question you want to know, then answer yourself out loud. Don’t second guess your answer—let your higher self come through, for it has much to tell you! I record my sessions to help remember what I said.

There are times when intense colors come to me. Sometimes I will get beautiful sacred geometry shapes floating around in my vision. If this happens just go with it, and allow the shapes and colors to do what they will. I revel in the awe-inspiring dance and transformation they perform. My guides have told me the visions you receive has something to do with the frequencies you’re tapping into.

Once you’re out of your deprivation state, your senses will be on high alert. Over the next hour, pay attention to any extra-sensory noises, tastes, smells, touches and visions that will occur.

Start a journal, and enjoy the process that this simple, yet powerful technique will take you on with helping to develop your own psychic skills!
