Finding peace during times of crisis can be difficult.  As a transformational hypnotherapist, I’ve encountered a wide variety of situations.  These samples are of clients who have given permission to share their experiences.  Even so, I decided to change their names to protect their privacy.

Joanne, a bright, intelligent woman, was terrified.  The bills were piling up and her ex-husband was withholding support.  A mother of four, Joanne believed her skills were obsolete.  She was stressed, her sleep was erratic, and she awakened each morning feeling like an elephant landed on her chest.  She needed two solutions from me:  a change in her literal income, and a change in her emotional/mental state.

Through our prosperity and abundance work, Joanne overcame her fear-based paralysis, found her dream career, a generous income, and best of all, belief in herself. We replaced her chronic fear and anxiety with feelings of comfort and peace.

A veteran in his early 30’s, Matthew had PTSD.  When he did sleep, he was plagued with night terrors.  Logically, he knew he was home safe, but no amount of meditation or reasoning with himself seemed to help. Unable to work, Matthew found himself back with his parents, and felt dejected.

Under hypnosis, Matthew created his own ‘hypno-guardian’ to stand sentry, allowing him to sleep, promising to awaken him in the event of actual danger.  Logically, Mathew understood his guardian was imaginary. Subconsciously, however, he finally felt safe, and his night terrors ceased.  Today, he is back to work, living a happy, independent life.

Melissa suffered from test anxiety since early childhood.  Although she was smart, and gifted in sales, she had failed the real estate exam multiple times.  Tests had always been a problem for her: in second grade, she had been diagnosed with a learning disability.

Hypnosis helped Melissa focus with confidence, recalling test information easily.  We blocked her to distractions, and soothed her nerves.  She now enjoys a career in real estate.  She recently wrote a book on beauty secrets, and became a radio personality.

Amanda, a breast cancer survivor, had been through a living nightmare.  Despite her doctors’ reassurances, fearing her cancer might return became Amanda’s unwelcome yet full-time obsession.  Under hypnosis we re-wired her focus from negative to positive, healing both mind and body.   Amanda can finally relax and move forward, and enjoy her life free from anxiety and worry.

Private hypnotherapy sessions run an average of 90 minutes, and include a free 30-minute initial consultation.  To find out if hypnosis is right for you, don’t hesitate to call or email me, or find out more at mechanicsofgrace.com.
